Singam is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach action, formulated using advanced technology for long-duration control of insect pests. It provides excellent protection against bollworms in cotton, and is also effective on stem borer and leaf folder in paddy, borers in brinjal, okra, and tomato, as well as thrips and flea beetles in grapes, and thrips and pod borer in chilli. It is a non systemic, photostable third generation pyrethroid insecticide with contact and stomach action and repellent properties giving rapid knockdown and long residual activity. Jackal acts by direct contact with insects or after ingestion. It is used in agriculture for the control of insect pests on a wide variety of crops.
