Metalaxyl 8% + Mancozeb 64% WP
Ranomil is a broad-spectrum fungicide offering both preventive and curative action against a wide range of crop diseases. It is rapidly absorbed and translocated to the growing tips, providing extended protection for up to 14 days. Ranomil is most effective when sprayed at the onset of disease symptoms or at the first visible signs of infection, ensuring timely and long-lasting disease control for healthier crops.
Ranomil is a powerful systemic and contact fungicide combining Metalaxyl and Mancozeb to deliver dual-action disease control. Metalaxyl, a systemic fungicide from the Phenylamide group, disrupts nucleic acid synthesis in fungal cells, thereby halting their growth from within. Mancozeb, a contact fungicide from the dithiocarbamate group, interferes with multiple enzyme systems by targeting sulfhydryl groups, inhibiting vital biochemical processes in the fungal cytoplasm and mitochondria. As a multi-site protective fungicide, Mancozeb also prevents spore germination and remains active on the leaf surface. This combination provides both internal and external protection, making Ranomil highly effective against diseases like downy mildew in grapes, damping off in nurseries, and black shank in tobacco.
