Pyriproxyfen 10% EC
Jabrat is an Insect Growth Regulator (IGR) that effectively controls all stages of whitefly—eggs, nymphs, and adults. It prevents egg hatching, disrupts nymph-to-adult development, and causes sterility in adults, ensuring they cannot reproduce or harm crops even if present. Jabrat can be applied at any crop stage and helps reduce the spread of Leaf Curl Virus (CLCV) by controlling its vector. With translaminar activity, it reaches pests on the underside of leaves and provides visible control within 4–5 days. It also controls sooty mold caused by whitefly and promotes a greening effect with better yield due to its phytotonic properties. For best results, apply Jabrat when whitefly population reaches ETL (3–5 adults per leaf), especially during the early stages when nymphs dominate. It offers long residual control, is safe for bees and beneficial insects, environmentally friendly, and does not affect pollination or fruit set.
Pyriproxyfen acts as an IGR (insect growth regulator) which prevents young insects to grow into adults and reproduce, thus controlling their population. While bifenthrin affects the nervous system of the insects rendering them paralysed.
